Adaptive TR Scheme for PAPR Reduction in OFDM System

본 논문은 직교 주파수 분할 다중 반송파 (OFDM; orthogonal frequency division modulation) 시스템의 최대 전력 대 평균 전력 비율 (PAPR; peak to average-power ratio)을 감소하기 위한 톤 예약 기법 (TR; tone reservation)에서 최고 줄임 톤 (PRT; peak reduction tone) 집합을 적응적으로 적용하는 새로운 방법을 제안한다. TR 기법은 PRT 집합의 크기가 커질수록 PAPR 감소성능이 뛰어난 역관계가 존재한다. OFDM신호의 PAPR을 감소시키기 위해서는 높은 톤 비율을 적용해서 많은 톤을 PRT로 선택해서 PAPR을 감소시키면 데이터 전송효율이 떨어진다. 본 논문은 크기가 서로 다른 PRT 집합을 미리 선택한 후 적응적으로 TR 기법에 적용하는 방법을 제안하고, 제안한 기법의 성능을 모의실험을 통하여 분석한다.
